Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Launchbot processes, why, and how long it's kept. By interacting with the bot you consent to the handling described below.

1. What we collect

When you mention @Launchbot_gg on X, the Service reads — via the public X API — the following from your tweet:

  • the tweet text and tweet ID;
  • your X user ID, username, and display name;
  • the URL of any image attached to the tweet;
  • any X handles mentioned in the tweet (for fee splitting).

We do not read your direct messages, your timeline, your followers, or any tweet you have not directed at our bot.

2. How we use it

  • Tweet text is sent to a large-language model (via Vercel AI Gateway) to extract the structured launch request.
  • The image is uploaded to IPFS through the Flaunch image pipeline and used as the token's on-chain metadata.
  • Your username is sent to Flaunch as the token's creator identifier. Flaunch's Privy integration uses it to provision the custodial wallet.
  • The tweet ID is stored in a Redis cache with a 30-day TTL so we never process the same tweet twice.

3. What we don't do

  • We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers.
  • We do not build profiles of users beyond the dedupe cache.
  • We do not host any user-facing analytics that re-publish tweets.

4. Third parties

The Service uses these processors:

  • X / Twitter — receives our API requests and stores reply tweets we post. Their privacy policy applies.
  • Flaunch — receives token name, symbol, description, image, and creator handle to deploy the token. See their policy.
  • Vercel AI Gateway — receives tweet text for LLM parsing. Inference providers used through the Gateway are configured for zero data retention.
  • Upstash Redis — stores tweet IDs and job state.
  • Vercel — hosts the application and stores logs.

5. Retention

  • Tweet IDs and job state: 30 days, then auto-deleted.
  • On-chain token deployments: permanent (we cannot delete data written to the Base blockchain).
  • Application logs: 30 days, then auto-deleted by Vercel.

6. Your rights

You can request deletion of any non-blockchain data we hold by contacting @Launchbot_gg via X DM. On-chain data cannot be deleted by us.

7. Children

The Service is not intended for users under 18. Do not interact with the bot if you are under 18.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change.
